I am a creative, passionate lover of life and all things bright and vibrant. I've been soul searching for many years, looking for deep meaning in my work, traveling the world to discover myself and my soul’s purpose.

I started my career out of college teaching English in China. This was an unlikely career choice, as I'd studied photography and advertising. Graduating college in 2008 in the midst of a recession was challenging. I weighed my resources and took this path to have employment upon graduating. It was a life-changing experience for me, full of adventure and lots of culture shock. I met some incredible people along the way and documented my experience through thousands of photographs.

I spent many years, after that year in China, in corporate America. I had a 4-year chapter in my life as a flight attendant, then spent several years working for a travel agency. My most recent corporate job was in sales and marketing at a hotel in Santa Monica, California. These years of working in corporate America never fulfilled me. I knew there was more out there for me.

It wasn’t until the pandemic hit that I decided to really dig deep and figure out what I wanted to do with my life. I was laid off from my corporate job at the hotel and was so fortunate to use this time to explore and expand my creativity. Every day, I woke up early, excited to create, feeling passion in this work. My ‘pandemic passion project’ was making a vision board for myself. It took almost 2 months, and it wasn’t just a vision board, but a vision WALL. A 60 x 60 inch creation from the heart.

I found so much love and joy from creating my vision wall that I decided this is what I wanted to do with my life. This was the birth of DaShira Designs. Through my work, I have both a creative outlet and the opportunity to connect and help people visualize and manifest their dreams. It’s the perfect combination for me to feel fulfilled and inspired by the work I'm putting out into the world.

Along with the manifestation art, my love for photography and capturing people’s essence birthed the concept of Embodiment Photoshoots. These photoshoots are a manifestation tool, used to empower people to show up and see themselves in their most beautiful, uplifted state. I invite all of my clients to show up confident, in their power, and ready to embody the energy of exactly who they are and how they want the world to see them.

From the Embodiment Photoshoots, the idea of the SuperPower Goddess Oracle Deck came to life. I started inviting women to show up in the photoshoots as goddesses, to declare themselves the goddess of something (such as empowerment, gratitude, compassion), and they each were given a unique goddess name that I created for them. As this goddess photo series started to develop, I realized the goddesses needed a voice. And what better way to get their uplifting messages across than with an Oracle Deck? And so it is!

I’m so blessed and fulfilled to be living my purpose of creating art that awakens peoples’ desires, aspirations, and goals to live their best lives and to see themselves in their best light.
